We go on lots of fantastic trips which is a fun way of learning and we think the teachers enjoy them as well. Year 6 are the unlucky ones as we seem to miss out because of the dreaded SATs. This year we have been to Beamish and New Hartley as part of our project on the New Hartley Pit disaster. We have also worked with pupils from Churchill Community College on drama/poetry events. We had a great time making clay heads of miners with Mr Flowers as part of the project.
The other classes have been on lots of trips and the pictures show how much fun they had.
